Just rambling.

I still think its incredibly awesome that Ed Asner voiced Granny Goodness on Superman: the Animated Series. Granny hates spunk.

Baby kicks are neat.

I hate the heat.

My butt is jiggling more than I really think it should. Its like two bulldogs fighting in a blanket.

I loved Alien Nation and V when I was a kid. I wonder if I still would if I watched them again?

I read a lot of fuckin' comic books. Ted and I put away a bunch we'd read recently, and well... I came to the conclusion that I read a lot of fuckin' comic books.

I really hate the heat.

Thank God for Tums.

Oh, man. You have my sympathies. =/ I've been to Vegas in the summer -- I think the hottest its gotten while I was there was the 120's.

Yeah, it was 108+ today. I don't have ac in my car so we were running around today like that because we had to go to the DMV. Ugh. I am so happy to be indoors.

I have been very deliberately NOT looking at the thermometer all this week. When it's after 9pm and it's warm enough to walk around naked outside without a shiver, it's too damn hot. And I have no AC. :-(

I rewatched V (miniseries, not the series) not very long ago. It didn't hold up all that well, I thought.

I loved Alien Nation too. I would be very sad to have my fond memories shattered.

Agreed -- "Alien Nation" holds up really well (I recently re-watched it with Kyle and Kira), but I couldn't get into "V" a couple of years ago.

Where are the SexyPregnantBeth pics, I ask you? ;)

In direct yet respectful contradiction of atalantapendrag rewatched V recently, and found it held up surprisingly well (with the exception of a couple of really egregious effects shots, which provoked howls of pained indignation from the spouse and I).

I had not, however, been expecting it to be GREAT ART. I was expecting cheesy, cheesy fun, and it was that. In other words, it's still entertaining if you don't approach it seriously.

I remember being preggers with my first in the middle of summer. By the end, I was like a beached whale, laying out on my fold-out couch right in front of the a/c unit.

I hope things cool off for you soon!

I hear you on the heat. I was very very pregnant in Aussie summer-- forty degrees easily, and no airconditioning in our house.

I read a lot of fuckin' comic books.

But that's a good thing! :D

Alien Nation was AWESOME! At least, the series was. The post-series movies went from mediocre to lame.

It's way too hot when it's 90 degrees right now and all I can do is gasp in relief about how much COOLER it was today. Yeah, only 105. But then, we live in the same-ish city and you know this.

Tums is god. Mylanta is the hard stuff, and I think you need a doc's permit but it can help a bit more when it gets really bad. Mike called it my blue friend, although I mostly stuck with Tums. Think of all the calcium you're packing in. That's good, right? Hang in. Baby kicks are total yays!

There's no such thing as too many comic books. We should do a comic book round robin. :D That would be happy. Then you could lie on a cot in front of the air conditioner, eat ice cream and ice pops, and read comics. Tha's not half bad, is it?

While pregnancy just wrecks havoc with your body. what it did to ones butt is just frightening.
Being pregnant in the summer is just the pits. I felt like a little sun just radiating heat. And TUMS are ever so lovely.
Oi.

As much as the bulldogs and blanket image cracks me the fuck up, you really do look beautiful and glowing. Srsly.

Baby kicks are definitely neat but I'm still on the fence about the protracted stretching that baby has recently grown fond of. My right rib and left pelvis seem to simultaneously get in her way. ;)
