Yes, it's ironic how many hardcore conservatives seem to be rather, er, selective about their conservatism!

On a related note, have you seen these highly entertaining graphics on that subject?

Conservatives love their kink. It makes them feel deliciously dirty and depraved-- I bet they get so much more of a buzz out of sex, too, compared to us who don't have the same hangups as they do. :)

I mean, seriously: in the UK they have cross-dressing auto-erotic-asphixiation!Tories, the States have porn-mad Christian Right guys and homophobic pastors who like playing with young male prostitutes, and Australia has a chair-sniffing, quokka-fucking Liberal* Party guy. (* Liberal Party over here is yet another one of their lies-- they're the right-wing "we love businesses and the church and hate poor people and minorities" folk)

I know the left aren't perfect, but you never see anything like THAT about 'em. Makes Bill Clinton's sex scandal look pretty boring in comparison.

I completely agree. And I think the US Democrat politician's stereotypical vice of promiscuity is sort of amusing. Kennedy and Clinton's indiscretions are nothing compared to the kind of freaky shit our Republicans cook up. ;)
