Still worth it though, right? :)

But I bet it was worth it!

(still, five hours? Insanity!)

Five hours?!?

You're a brave woman. :)

Those mush dog sleds are good for NOTHING, I'm telling ya.

Let me guess; was the 405 in its usual state of disarray?

(No, I don't live in LA, although that has the potential to change in the not-too-distant future. Yes, I've driven in LA at various times. And for all the state of perpetual chaos on LA's highways, drivers there don't scare me the way that central and northern Florida drivers do.)

"drivers there don't scare me the way that central and northern Florida drivers do"

Amen to that. I've lived in this bloody state for 16 years and I'm *still* not accustomed to the way these idiots drive. If you can make it in florida, you can drive *anywhere*. I can't wait to go up North where the drivers at least pretend they know where they're going.

Hee! Hi there!

And yeah; Tampa, Bradenton and the surrounding areas, and Anna Maria Island were a snap. Orlando -- bad. North of there just gets worse and worse. How my mom can operate in Orlando traffic and not use her horn just bewilders me beyond words.

she doesn't use her horn???

I think I'd have died by now if not for mine.

HOLY SHIT. Traffic here is the Seventh Layer of Hell, but... five frigging hours? Hopefully the show made up for it!
