If the update is late, our customers can blame McCain. Still too preoccupied with the election drama and tonight's debate to work on it.

Random babbling ensues in an attempt to clear my head so I can get back to work.

The baby is in her swing thingy. One of the music tracks it plays is a calypso version of Itsy Bitsy Spider. Thus, the calypso version of Itsy Bitsy Spider has been stuck in my head all day. Its harrowing.

Topsy Turvy is on in the background right now, as Ted and I luvz Gilbert & Sullivan.

Something short circuited while I was pregnant, and now I burn the hell out of everything I cook. Alas for tonight's veggie bacon.

Diane Arbus was a Pisces. Pier Paolo Pasolini was a Pisces. My sign is a nuthouse.

Can't wait to get the ok from my doc so that I can go back to exercising. And go back to having sleazy, cheap sex with my husband.

Getting my hair done this week. Thank hell. I'm a little sick of looking like a hobo. My hair looks like an old, wet macrame plant holder that's starting to unravel.

I want to go to the comic book store this week. There are about a gurzillion stories I'm behind on. I need to inventory my comics, though. I haven't started the Batman RIP line, and I don't know which ones I have vs which ones I need, and I hate fucking up and buying duplicates.

Huh. This isn't working. Brain still full of angst.

Those songs are going to be the death of me. Eve loves her vibrating papa-san chair and it plays a round of 5 different songs. They're all kind of tinny and plinky, if that makes sense, and it feels like they have been imprinted on my goddamn soul because I've heard them so much.

My doc better give me the okay next Monday, dammit! ;)

MONDAY!? My doc appointment isn't until Wednesday!

Dood, are you talking about the bouncer thingy? Lilith doesn't like hers, much to my dismay. She'll sit in it for like... five minutes... then she gets red in the face and madder than hell. LOL!

We have a bouncer that Eve hates, too, because she sinks down into it and her head bobs to the side. The boppy papa-san, however, is her happy little chair. She LURVES that thing!

My appointment was next Wednesday, but I moved it because of will call. No way am I driving home Tuesday night and going to a 10 am the next day. ;)

For some reason, a calypso version of Itsy Bitsy Spider reminds me of Mr Nancy.

The sooner this election is over, the better. I think it's just getting to most people -- I've never seen so many people melting down in quite this way before. It's totally understandable (and I'm in that same meltdown mode), but it's awful. The economy and everything else going wrong isn't helping. It's scary times.

And as a fellow Pisces, yeah -- we are prone to going completely batshit insane. Mostly because we're hyper-sensitive and hyper-aware of things and it takes its toll. I hope you feel better soon -- I'm sure once you can exercise again (with and without your hubby ;-)) you will. Endorphins, baby!

I wanna get back to having sleazy, cheap sex too dammit!

I ordered the Batman RIP stuff from Graham Cracker and they didn't send any of it to me! Argh! Really want to start reading it, I've heard it's amazing.

Just to warn you...

Just because the doctor says all go on the sex life doesn't mean it's possible. It took another two weeks for things to not feel like my gut was going to explode open from having THAT THING there. My unsolicited advice, go slow.

Ah, yeah. Go slow is good advice. (that I totally didn't follow- in fact, it's possible that I had sex w/ my husband less than 3 weeks after the C-section)

Course, that was all 15 yrs ago, and well, everything turned out fine. My advice: Do what seems right to you.

Sorry about the brain. I think we're all becoming obsessed with this campaign. I spend my day going between TPM and Kos saying "What did they do now?"

That singing chair sounds like its ripe for circuit bending.

Go BACK to having cheap, sleazy sex? I'd just like to get STARTED on that with my...well, he's not my husband, he's my non-boyfriend. *sigh* You're totally right, by the way; Pisceans are INSANE. My sister is one. My non-boyfriend is another. How do you explain going from a music major to an engineering major?

For non-crazymaking kids' music, I highly recommend the Putumayo Kids series. Kids' songs (or at least kid-friendly songs) from around the world. I have World Playground, Caribbean Playground and Animal Playground, and there are tons of others, plus the Dreamland series which are more lullabies and down-tempo songs (the Playground ones are very upbeat). Aidan especially likes dancing to "Mardi Gras Mambo" and "Little Anansi".

"My hair looks like an old, wet macrame plant holder that's starting to unravel."

Thats fantastic xD

This is gonna be the first election I vote in, so I've been paying a bit more attention than I usually do (read: not much at all, I hate to admit) to the debates and whatnot.
